This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to experience yoga in an ashram like environment. For all those wanting to explore yoga more deeply and how it relates to ones life. The retreat will include yoga classes, talks, workshops, meditations, all in a nurturing retreat environment.  Emphasis will be on the practices that purify and awaken the Chakras and practices that deepens ones awareness of Prana in the body. We cannot recommend this retreat highly enough. It really is a rare opportunity to experience yoga with an incredibly experienced and wonderful teacher.

rootvadersbos Nature Reserve is situated in the forested mountain range between Swellendam and Heidelberg, aprox 3 hours drive from Cape Town and 2.5 hours from George. The reserve consists of forests, and fynbos and has many short walking trails, hiking trails and peaceful forest spots.

Food: All meals included will be vegetarian. Breakfast and Lunch will be the main meals, and dinner will be a very light meal.

Accomodation: Accomodation is in comfortable dormitory rooms, sleeping between 5 and 8 people. the beds are single not bunks. Men and women will be segregated. Camping options may be possible as well. Mouna (silence) will be kept at night giving people the oportunity to digest their own experiences without being disturbed by others.

The retreat is scheduled to begin at 1pm on Thursday and will end at 3pm on the Sunday Afternoon.

Thursday:
12pm - 1pm Registration
1pm Introduction Talk with Swami Pragyamurti
3 pm Yoga and Meditation Class
5:45 -6:45 Dinner
7pm - Meditation Practice with Swami Pragyamurti
8pm Silence (mouna) until after breakfast.

Friday:
6:30am Shatkarmas (Purifying practices of Neti and Kunjal)
7am - 8:30am Hatha Yoga Class
8:30-9:30am Breakfast
10am Workshop, Practice and Talks with Swami Pragyamurti
12pm-3pm Lunch and Free Time including short Nature trails in the reserve and walking meditations, Karma yoga project to Build a labyrinth for Grootvadersbos nature reserve.
3-5pm Yoga Class with Swami Pragyamurti
5pm - 7pm Supper and Free Time
7pm - Meditation Practice with Swami Pragyamurti
8pm - Silence (mouna) until after breakfast

Saturday:
